Duties Provide attentive pet care including feeding, walking, bathing, and administering medication as directed Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills to ensure their comfort and safety Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and pet care facilities through sanitization and routine cleaning procedures Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor activities to promote healthy behavior and enrichment Support staff with animal restraint during examinations or treatments, ensuring minimal stress for pets Engage in pet training activities to reinforce good behavior and socialization skills Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy lifting or team lifting tasks when moving animals or equipment Requirements Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable Experience in pet sitting, kennel work, or animal care facilities is preferred Knowledge of dog training, animal behavior, and pet grooming techniques Ability to handle animals confidently using proper restraint and handling methods Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Physical ability to perform outdoor work, heavy lifting, and team lifting tasks safely Commitment to maintaining a clean environment through sanitization practices specific to pet care facilities Familiarity with animal restraint procedures and pet boarding operations is advantageous Join us in creating a caring environment where animals receive the best possible care!
