Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain clean and sanitized kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment for all pets Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills to prevent injury or stress Monitor pet behavior closely, noting any signs of illness or distress and communicating with veterinary staff when necessary Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Support pet grooming routines such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and healthy Engage in team lifting and physical tasks required for cleaning supplies or moving animals safely within the facility Qualifications Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly valued but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably on a daily basis Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of pet grooming, sanitization practices, and kennel cleaning procedures Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating a safe, clean, and loving space where every pet feels at home!
