Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, and nail trimming to meet each dog's specific needs and breed standards Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques, ensuring comfort and security during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold health standards Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, pet health considerations, and after-care instructions Assist with pet handling during grooming appointments, ensuring proper animal handling and safety at all times Skills Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Strong dog handling skills with the ability to work calmly with animals of various temperaments and sizes Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and safe handling practices Familiarity with animal care routines such as bathing, brushing, and basic health assessments Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and understanding their needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for equipment or supplies Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional pet care experiences Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills bring joy to pets and peace of mind to their owners.
