Job Description

Job Summary Operations Lead - Dog Dayz Full-time Dog Dayz is growing our leadership team! We're looking for another great human to help keep our busy daycare and boarding operation running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work alongside our existing management team, help run the day, support and train staff, take care of customers, solve the inevitable curveballs, and help keep the controlled chaos actually controlled. You'll still spend plenty of time with dogs—but this job is really about helping people, dogs and the day run well. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable taking the lead, good with people, and able to keep their head when the plan for the day suddenly isn't the plan anymore. You'll help with daily operations, staff assignments and training, customer check-ins and checkouts, opening and closing, maintaining our care and cleanliness standards, pet handling and care, and generally keeping things moving.
The important stuff:
This is a full-time position. Regular weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) availability is required, along with most holidays. We're a 365-day-a-year business, so dogs unfortunately remain unaware of weekends and holidays. Previous leadership experience is preferred; animal-care experience is a plus. Starting at $23/hour, with room to grow as your skills and responsibilities grow. If you're the kind of person who likes a busy day, takes pride in doing things well, enjoys being part of a strong team, and can laugh when things get a little hairy—sometimes literally—we'd love to meet you. Join us as the Dog Daycare and Boarding Operations Lead to make a meaningful difference in pets' lives while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence!
Pay:
From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
Benefits:
Employee discount Application Question(s): Tell us briefly about a time when you were responsible for keeping things running when the original plan fell apart. What did you do? (short answer) How many years of experience do you have leading, supervising, or training others? Are you available to work both Saturday and Sunday and most holidays? (Required) Are you available to work full-time, approximately 35-40 hours per week? (Required)
