In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality bathing, grooming, and handling services to ensure each pet looks and feels their best. Your expertise in animal handling and communication with pet owners will help create a positive experience for every furry client. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pet grooming, animal care, and customer service within a lively, supportive environment. Duties Safely handle dogs of all breeds and temperaments during bathing and grooming sessions, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Perform pet coat styling, trimming nails, cleaning ears, and other grooming tasks to meet owner specifications and maintain hygiene standards Restrain animals appropriately using animal restraint techniques to facilitate grooming procedures effectively Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice to foster trust and satisfaction Assist with pet sitting duties when needed, providing attentive care during short-term stays or appointments Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold health standards and ensure a safe environment Lift heavy pets or equipment safely as required, demonstrating physical strength and proper technique Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly preferred; veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience enhances your ability to handle animals confidently Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform pet nail trimming, pet coat styling, and animal restraint with patience and precision Experience with heavy lifting and physical activity necessary for handling larger animals or equipment Demonstrated commitment to animal care, safety protocols, and customer service excellence A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive attitude to deliver outstanding pet care services Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners!

$7.75 - $8.00 per hour
