Schedule:

Part-time team members generally work 2-3 shifts per week. Most shifts run 5:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., with a one-hour break. We occasionally schedule a shorter 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. shift. Days and shift assignments vary with staffing needs, and weekend and holiday availability is required. We also have a 7 p.m.-6 a.m. overnight shift. Overnight availability is welcome but is not required for this position.

The role:

K9 C.A.R.E.

Specialists provide hands-on care for our boarding and daycare guests. You'll help keep dogs safe and comfortable throughout their stay by supervising play, following individual care instructions, maintaining clean spaces, and communicating what you observe to the rest of the team. This is an active, physical role with significant cleaning responsibilities. What you'll do: Feed dogs and administer medications according to their care instructions and resort procedures, including required checks and documentation. Clean and sanitize dog suites, play areas, and shared spaces to our standards. Actively supervise playgroups, stay engaged with the dogs, and follow handling and safety procedures. Provide attentive one-on-one care, walks, and enrichment for dogs who do not participate in group play. Watch for changes in a dog's health, stress level, or behavior and promptly bring concerns to a shift lead or manager. Record feeding, medications, behavior, and other important care information accurately in our systems. Share useful observations with shift leads and the Customer C.A.R.E. team so families receive accurate updates. Safely move dogs between care areas and assist with customer interactions when needed. Perform assigned bathing or other basic care services after training. Work with your team to complete daily tasks and maintain a safe, clean resort. What we're looking for: Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to dog safety and care. Attention to detail and the ability to follow each dog's care instructions. Comfort working with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. Willingness to clean thoroughly and stay engaged during physically active shifts. Reliable attendance, clear communication, and a team-oriented approach. Comfort learning to use a computer-based pet care system; Gingr experience is a plus. Previous kennel, daycare, shelter, veterinary, or other animal care experience is helpful, but we will train the right candidate. Availability for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays. The work involves substantial time standing and walking, as well as bending, cleaning, and safely handling dogs. It may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
