Job Summary Dog Groomer. We are seeking a dedicated candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services in a safe and caring environment. Duties Dog Groomer Provide grooming services for various breeds of dogs including bathing, trimming, and styling fur. Conduct thorough health checks on pets during grooming sessions to identify any potential issues. Handle animals with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, aftercare, and any observed health concerns. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible. Experience Dog Groomer Previous experience will need to be at least 3 years of grooming with clipper and scissor work. Knowledge of animal care practices, including dog handling and animal restraint techniques. Familiarity with dog training methods can be beneficial in understanding pet behavior during grooming sessions.
