Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Dog Boarding & Grooming. This position involves providing exceptional care for dogs in a boarding environment, as well as offering grooming services to ensure our furry clients look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with animal care. Duties Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all animals in the boarding facility. Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to ensure the health and hygiene of the dogs. Engage with pet owners to discuss their pets' needs and provide updates on their wellbeing. Assist in managing bookings and schedules for boarding and grooming services. Handle heavy lifting when moving dogs or equipment as required. Requirements Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable but not essential; a passion for animal care is crucial. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and provide excellent service. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks throughout the day. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their wellbeing is essential. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends or holidays if required.
