BOARDING KENNEL ATTENDANT
We currently need help with the following shifts; we are hiring pt/ft. Week Days AM Shift 7am-1pm PM Shift 3pm-7pm Weekend Days AM Shift 7am-12pm PM Shift 2pm-7pm We need someone to help us take care of the dogs. Walk them, clean up after them, love on them, play with them, feed them, etc. A basic understanding of animal behavior and dog body language is essential. We are looking for an adult that is physically capable, and who is able to work every scheduled shift. Time off can be arranged with good notice. You do not need to have professional animal experience, though it would help. We need someone who is trainable, and a self starter. Must love dogs. Playing with dogs is fun but it is also hard work. We find people new to our industry are often surprised by this.

THE PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB INCLUDE
Heavy Cleaning, working with specific chemicals and protocol for sanitizing Walking up to 5 miles a day, at a fast pace including stairs Lifting 40 lbs regularly and safely Handling large or unruly dogs (some guests can be well over 100lbs) This can include leash walking giant breeds on stairs when they are excited or acting wild. Working inside/outside regardless of weather (dogs need to go out no matter what) Kneeling to clean If this all sounds good and things work out, there is opportunity for more hours if desired and many ways to get a raise quickly.
