Job Description

Job Summary As a kennel technician at The K9 Ranch, you can expect to work with our team to give our canine guests a safe and fun vacation with us while their parents are away! Your responsibilities would include feeding and watering dogs, cleaning kennels, walking and exercising dogs, administering medications if needed, monitoring animal behavior and reporting any concerns, and providing general care and attention to the animals. It's important to have a love for animals and be able to handle them with care and compassion. Responsibilities Provide exceptional animal care by feeding, bathing, exercising, and monitoring dogs' status.
Exercising Dogs Includes:
Nature Walks, Play Groups or Solo Play Time, and Swim Groups or Solo Swim Time Taking quality pictures daily for our social media and for the owners. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, common areas, equipment, and high-traffic areas. Handle dogs safely and confidently. Work independently to get your assigned tasks completed. Work as a team to ensure all daily responsibilities are met. Make sure dogs are comfortable and having a good time, providing enriching actitvities and compassionate, gentle care. Experience Previous kennel experience or animal husbandry background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates. Strong understanding of pet care standards, including pet safety protocols and animal restraint techniques. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals.

be able to stand and move for extended periods of time outside and in all types of weather be able to lift and move 50+ pounds attention to detail ability to practice patience, consistency, and respect have clear verbal and non-verbal communication must be able to work in a team environment must be available to work weekends/holidays
