Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Part Time Groomer, where your passion for animals and grooming expertise will shine! In this energetic role, you will provide top-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. Your dedication to animal care, combined with excellent communication skills, will create a positive experience for pet owners and their beloved companions. This position does require weekend shifts as we are hoping to find someone who can cater towards our weekend clients! Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, and styling to meet customer expectations and breed standards Handle animals with care, ensuring safe restraint and comfort during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related grooming tasks Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special requests, and aftercare instructions Assist with animal handling and restraint during grooming to ensure safety for both pets and staff Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and equipment Support pet care routines such as feeding or light exercise when needed to keep animals calm and comfortable Experience Previous experience in pet grooming Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods essential for safe grooming practices Experience with veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with animal health consideration Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to manage larger pets or equipment safely Join us if you're passionate about animal well-being, eager to develop your grooming skills, and ready to deliver exceptional pet care in a lively environment!
