This would be a great opportunity for a new groomer that is looking to gain the confidence and practice. Or a groomer with experience that is looking for a high end salon to work at that promotes continuing education and quality over quantity. Candidates would be confident in bathing, drying, brush outs, nails and ear plucking. Experience in Hand Stripping, Cats, Hand scissoring, and breed standard trims is high recommended but not required. we are more than happy to help hone the right groomers skills. We are closed major holidays, provide sharpening allowance, and, receptionist for scheduling and continuing education Responsibilities Greet clients, assist in checking in/out processes Bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trimming, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Providing haircuts to pets, using clipper and scissor work Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques, demonstrating patience and care during grooming sessions Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas and equipment to uphold health standards and ensure a safe environment for pets and staff Provide exceptional customer service while educating clients in the importance of pet grooming Skills At Least 1 year experience of pet grooming in a professional setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or pet handling tasks ( up to 50 lbs ) Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Positive attitude and professional demeanor Basic understanding of animal behavior and training methods to ensure safe grooming sessions

From $20.00 per hour
