Love animals? Love flexibility? You might be a great fit for Prairie Poppins! Prairie Poppins Animal Care is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced animal lover to provide amazing care to our clients' pets throughout the Milford, Wilton, Brookline, and surrounding areas . Our sitters spend their days doing what they love — walking dogs, hanging out with cats, caring for pets in their own homes, and occasionally getting paid to spend the night with someone's adorable fur family. Not a bad gig, right? We're looking for someone who is responsible, comfortable working independently, and understands that pet sitting is more than just playing with cute animals. Our clients are trusting us with their pets, their homes, and sometimes both at the same time — so reliability and attention to detail are HUGE. What You'll Be Doing Depending on the assignments you choose to accept, your days might include: Dog walks and enrichment visits Drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and other household pets Overnight pet sitting in clients' homes Feeding, fresh water, medications, and other pet-care routines Litter box and pet-area cleanup Sending photos and detailed updates to pet parents after visits Following each pet's individual routine and instructions Keeping pets safe and secure at all times Noticing when something seems "off" and communicating it to the owner and Prairie Poppins Occasionally helping with small household tasks during overnight stays, such as bringing in mail or watering plants Spending a lot of time outside — yes, even when the New England weather isn't cooperating! The Kind of Person We're Looking For We're not necessarily looking for someone with a fancy resume. We're looking for someone we can trust .
