Homeward Bound Dog Walking and Adventure Services, LLC has been providing trusted care to dogs and peace of mind to their humans since 2011. We've completed over 35,000 visits and are guided by the values of Compassion, Accountability, Reliability, and Excellence. We're looking for weekday dog walkers to join our team in Gilford, Laconia, Meredith, and Belmont. Most visits occur between 11 AM and 2 PM , but availability as early as 9 AM or as late as 4 PM is helpful. This is a great fit for you if you: ✔ Love dogs and are comfortable handling all sizes and energy levels ✔ Have reliable transportation and enjoy driving between visits ✔ Have a smartphone with data and a camera ✔ Can check email regularly and are internet savvy ✔ Are physically active (walk up to 5 miles a day, lift 45 lbs) ✔ Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and teammates ✔ Can pass a background check and drug test ✔ Are looking for steady work and a consistent schedule Dog Walker - Responsibilities Walk dogs individually or in pairs on safe, on-leash routes near their homes Follow detailed care instructions for each pup, including feeding, water refresh, medications, and home care tasks Provide enriching experiences for dogs through sniffing, positive interactions, and attentive handling Use the Time to Pet app to check schedules, follow instructions, and send pet care journals with photos Keep client homes secure—lock doors, set alarms (if required), and be respectful of client space Monitor each dog's behavior and well-being; report anything unusual to the team Communicate clearly and kindly with both clients and teammates Show up on time, follow the daily route, and manage your time independently
