CB Pet Market is looking for a passionate, experienced, and talented Pet Groomer to join our professional team at our Clinton Grooming Salon. We're not just looking for someone who can groom a dog. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves what they do, takes pride in their craft, and understands that every pet — and every pet parent — deserves an exceptional experience.
If you're the kind of groomer who notices the little details, takes pride in a beautiful finish, and treats every pet with patience, kindness, and respect, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Love About Working With Us At CB Pet Market, we believe great groomers should have the tools, products, support, and freedom to do their best work.
You'll have access to a broad selection of professional grooming tools and products, along with ongoing product knowledge and training. You'll work alongside a knowledgeable retail team and be part of a company that has built a strong reputation for quality, service, and genuine care for pets.

We're Looking for Someone Who... Takes genuine pride in their work and loves making pets look and feel their very best. Is passionate about the grooming profession and eager to continue learning and improving their skills. Has strong scissoring and clipping skills and a great eye for detail. Is confident, dependable, proactive, and able to work independently. Has the patience and gentle touch necessary to work safely and compassionately with all types of pets, including challenging grooms. Understands the importance of creating a positive experience for both pets and their parents. Has excellent communication and customer service skills. Enjoys interacting directly with customers, understanding their expectations, discussing the finished groom, gathering feedback, and helping clients schedule their pet's next appointment. Keeps thorough grooming notes so that each pet receives consistent, personalized care. Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming environment. Properly sanitizes grooming tables and equipment between appointments and ensures the grooming area is clean and ready for the next day before leaving. Can recognize potential medical or skin concerns and understands when those conditions may require adjustments to grooming products or services. Works well as part of a team and enjoys partnering with our retail staff to provide an excellent overall customer experience. Is comfortable spending much of the day on their feet and can safely lift at least 40 pounds. Experience At least 2 years of professional pet grooming experience is preferred.
