Job Title:
Dog Walker Overview:
YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE DURING
10am- 4pm On most days, evening hours, and weekends as needed!
Responsibilities:
- Be okay with training with me before an agreement on hire to make sure you are the right fit.
- Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation through engaging walks
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each dog under your care
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their dogs' needs
- Maintain cleanliness during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Report any health or behavioral concerns to the pet owner or supervisor promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet sitting, customer service, or pet care preferred
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and basic animal handling
- Equine experience is a plus animal care background beneficial
- Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments with patience and compassion
