Duties Perform bathing, brushing, drying, and pet coat styling to ensure each animal looks polished and healthy. Handle animals gently and confidently during grooming procedures, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques. Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming tasks with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with heavy lifting of animals or supplies when necessary to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred; certifications in pet coat styling or pet grooming are a plus. Background in veterinary services such as veterinary technician experience or veterinary assistant roles is advantageous. Knowledge of dog training techniques, animal restraint methods, and veterinary procedures enhances your ability to excel. Ability to handle animals safely using appropriate handling techniques for different species including dogs and horses. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed grooming tasks.
