We are Silver Hound Dog Walking & Cat Sitting, caring for dogs and cats in Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn and (parts of) West Orange since 2014. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and to give a lot of attention to our fur charges. Our company is like a family, the good kind. WHAT YOU GET:

$17 an hour to start, moving to $18 once you are fully trained Tips on top of that, and our clients are generous. Around the holidays they are especially so We pay for your drive time between visits, not only the time you are with the dog Around 10 to 20 hours a week once you are fully trained Liability insurance and Workers' Comp, so you are covered if something happens Taxes withheld automatically, so there are no big surprises at the end of the year An employer matched 401K after 3 months Our Referral Program. You earn a bonus when you bring us a new client, and another when you bring us a walker who joins the team You are never out there alone. Our walkers rotate, so you get to know all of our dogs and there is always someone to cover for you when you are sick or away O'Brian and I and your colleagues are always reachable. If a gate is locked, a dog is limping, or something just feels off, you send one message and we figure it out together

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE

• Honest
• Experienced with dogs
• Someone who carries themselves with the highest integrity
• The owner of a car insured to yourself
• Available either Monday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm
• OR Tuesday through Thursday, 10 am to 3 pm
• Interested in cat sitting too is a bonus, but not required
