Overview Join our dynamic team as a Daily Dog Walker and become a vital part of pet owners' lives by providing energetic, loving, and reliable dog walking services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and build meaningful relationships with dogs and their families. As a Daily Dog Walker, you will ensure dogs receive proper exercise, mental stimulation, and care, all while maintaining high standards of animal handling and client communication. Your dedication will help pets lead healthier, happier lives while giving pet owners peace of mind. Responsibilities Lead engaging and safe outdoor walks for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring proper pet exercise and mental stimulation. Observe and assess animal behavior during walks to ensure safety and well-being. Handle animals with care using appropriate restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' activities, behavior, and any concerns that arise during walks. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure all walking gear is in good condition. Follow specific training protocols for different animals, including basic obedience or specialized commands if required. Assist with overnight in-home pet care or pet sitting as needed, providing consistent attention and companionship. Skills Proven experience in dog handling, animal care, or pet sitting with a strong understanding of animal behavior. Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly valued. Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles enhances your ability to handle animals with medical needs. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions ensures resilience and adaptability. Excellent client communication skills to provide updates and build trust with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies related to pet care. Strong animal restraint skills combined with a compassionate approach to handling pets safely and comfortably. Previous Experience preferred Must have 3 professional verifiable references, able to pass background check, we verify employment history as well Great for someone looking for a temporary job or extra cash—get paid to spend time with dogs and enjoy the outdoors or flexible extra income opportunity. Flexible scheduling M-F (with some weekends). Compensation is paid per completed visit (paid bi-weekly).
