Responsibilities Greet pet owners and visitors warmly, providing outstanding customer service and guidance on pet care options Assist clients in selecting appropriate products for current and future pets. Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, grooming, training, and behavioral considerations Coordinate with veterinary staff and technicians to support animal well-being and handle special requests Maintain cleanliness of the pet care facility through sanitization and organization of supplies Handle animal restraint safely during interactions Requirements Previous experience in veterinary settings, animal shelters, or pet sitting is highly desirable Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles, dog training, kennel operations or pet boarding is a plus Strong animal handling skills including dog training, animal restraint, and pet grooming techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or assisting with large animals Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Sales background recommended-but not required Knowledge of animal behavior to ensure safe interactions between pets and staff Willingness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols Commitment to maintaining a clean environment through sanitization practices specific to pet care facilities Embark on a rewarding career where every day brings opportunities to improve animals' lives while building meaningful relationships with pet owners.
