Job Type:
Part-Time Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dog & Property Caretaker to support the daily operations of our home-based dog training business. This role is essential to keeping our facility clean, safe, and running smoothly for both our canine clients and human visitors. You will be responsible for day-to-day dog care assistance, thorough indoor and outdoor cleaning, and general property maintenance. This is currently a part time, 1099 position. Hours are flexible and scheduled in advance based on your availability. We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Dog Care & Handling Walk, exercise, and provide supervised outdoor time for client dogs following specific safety guidelines. Handle daily waste cleanup across all dog yards, outdoor runs and training areas. Assist with feeding, watering, and crate hygiene as directed. Monitor dogs for general health, behavior, or comfort changes and report them promptly. Property & Facility Maintenance Maintain indoor training spaces, kennels, and living areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Keep outdoor yards, paths, and training fields clear, safe, and free of debris or hazards. Perform routine property upkeep (e.g., light yard care, trash removal, stocking supplies, minor repairs). Ensure gates, fences, and dog containment systems remain secure at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements Physical Capability:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Attention to

Strong ability to follow precise instructions, training protocols, and safety guidelines consistently without deviation.

Communication:
Clear, prompt communication regarding property needs or animal updates. Preferred Experience Basic handiness or experience with general property maintenance.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
