Responsibilities Supervise daily activities within the pet care facility, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery Lead and motivate team members to provide outstanding pet care, grooming, and customer service Oversee pet handling, animal restraint, and behavior management to ensure safety for pets and staff Coordinate pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor activities while maintaining cleanliness and sanitization standards Assist with training new staff on animal handling techniques, kennel procedures, and customer interactions Maintain accurate records of pet care routines, sanitation schedules, and incident reports Support facility maintenance including cleaning, sanitization, and ensuring compliance with health regulations Requirements Proven experience in veterinary settings, veterinary technician work, or animal care facilities Knowledge of dog training, pet grooming, kennel management, and animal behavior principles Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed for pet activities or facility maintenance Experience with animal restraint techniques and pet handling to ensure safety during all interactions Familiarity with pet boarding procedures, animal care protocols, and facility sanitization practices Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us at The Little Dog Lounge where your enthusiasm for animals meets leadership!
