Responsibilities Assist groomers with pet handling, including calming and restraining animals during grooming sessions Support pet coat styling, pet grooming, nail trimming, and bathing procedures to ensure high-quality results Handle animal restraint safely and effectively to prevent injury or stress during grooming or veterinary procedures Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming preferences Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards Assist with pet care duties such as feeding, walking, and monitoring animal behavior in kennel or sitting environments Support veterinary team members with basic animal handling tasks when needed, including veterinary technician or assistant duties Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog training, veterinary care, or equine environments Knowledge of pet coat styling, pet grooming techniques, and pet nail trimming Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint methods and animal care practices Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Experience in kennel management, pet sitting, or heavy lifting required for managing larger animals or equipment Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for caring for animals and ensuring client satisfaction Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the day Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
