Pet Care Technician (Kennel Attendant / Playroom Attendant) K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel - Long Island, NY (SYOSSET, NY) K9 Resorts, a leader in luxury dog boarding and daycare, is hiring a Pet Care Technician . This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for people who love dogs, work with urgency, and take pride in doing things right. You'll be active all day, working directly with dogs and alongside a team that depends on each other to keep operations running smoothly. If you prefer slower environments or minimal responsibility, this role will not be the right fit.

•Requirements (Please Read Before Applying) Consistent, reliable attendance is required Weekend and holiday availability is required Must live in Nassau or Suffolk County, NY Must be comfortable with physical work, cleaning, and being on your feet all day

•What You'll Do Supervise dogs in daycare and private play Monitor behavior and step in to maintain safe group dynamics Perform detailed body checks and report any changes Clean and sanitize all rooms, play areas, and equipment Bathe dogs and assist with daily care routines Follow structured feeding, medication, and care protocols Support your team and stay productive during downtime What We're Looking For You move with urgency and don't need constant direction You notice details and speak up when something seems off You handle responsibility well and follow through You communicate clearly and work well with others You take pride in doing things thoroughly, not just quickly Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain active throughout your shift Experience with dogs is helpful, but not required Must complete K9 Resorts training program Pay & Benefits Starting at $17.50/hour Employee discounts Free daycare for your dog while working (once trained) Paid training Opportunities for growth as we expand Schedule Full-time, 8-hour shifts Morning, mid, or afternoon availability Weekends and holidays required About Us K9 Resorts is an award-winning pet care provider known for high standards in cleanliness, safety, and care .
