) . Must be available for morning shift (7:30am/8am) Monday through Friday. 15-20 hours/week (Potential to work additional hours if short-staffed).
MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 18.
Job description: The dog handler supervises and manages social play groups of dogs to ensure they are safe and engaged, while keeping the premises clean. Handlers may prepare meals, collect dogs from and/or return dogs to their owner in the lobby.
Responsibilities:
Monitor dogs for health and behavioral issues. Ensure safe and engaging interactions between the dogs. Rotate dogs between play areas depending on size and temperament. Report any concerns to the Manager and/or front desk. Ensure leashes and belongings are properly labeled and stored properly. Keep facility and yard sanitary and clean at all times. Every day, this role is assigned cleaning tasks during each shift. Check dogs for cleanliness Feeding and administering medications as instructed Clean up dog waste and dog hair with materials and products provided Be physically able to stand and move around for the majority of your shift, able to lift 40 pounds and stand/sit/kneel and bend as work tasks require. Send updates and pictures to clients' chats and post on social media as instructed.
