An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Team Gigi's Animal Care Attendant:
As a vital part of Team Gigi's, you'll play a crucial role in the well-being of our canine residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing mental and physical care to up to 60 dogs, ensuring a high quality of life and a clean, safe, and healthy environment. Offering tailored enrichment opportunities to meet individual dog needs. Conducting daily walks, enrichment activities, and interactions with Gigi's dogs. Handling animals with care and professionalism. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dog housing. Assisting with feeding, medication, and dog transportation to and from Gigi's campus. Monitoring animal behavior and health, promptly reporting any changes. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of animals in your care Representing Gigi's in a professional and courteous manner. Actively participating in Team Gigi's to advance our mission and goals. Other duties as assigned? Absolutely. We think every job should change and grow, getting more efficient and effective as we go! All team members at Gigi's collaborate and change tasks as requested by leadership. Must-Have:
At least 1 year of experience in animal care or kennel attendance. The ability to perform strenuous physical work daily, without limitations. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Full-time position is 40 hour average work week consisting of 8-hour shifts 5 days a week with consecutive days off, Weekends, and holidays required. Excellent dog care and handling skills. Attention to detail, good judgment, and a collaborative spirit. No allergies to animals. Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, as well as an insurable driving record for company vehicle transports.
