Job Description

Are you a highly motivated dog lover in the Cleveland area with great communication skills, experience working with a Team and strong attention to detail? Stay Dog Daycare and Boarding on Cleveland's near west side is looking for you!! Stay is expanding our Daycare Center Offerings and our Team! Stay is a structured daycare and enrichment center. We offer structured small group sessions, daily enrichment activities and individual care. We average 65-75 dogs per day, and we are open 24 hours a day, every single day of the year. We are hiring for 8 hour shifts. There are openings on day shift from 6a to 2p, and evening shift from 2p to 10p. We run full services every single day of the year, Weekends and Holidays are required. Your primary job assignments are monitoring/engaging the dogs in groups while they interact with each other and enrichment equipment, controlling their behavior, transporting dogs throughout the center, documenting their activities (pics and videos for report cards!) and cleaning. While we do require some experience with dog behavior, either in a daycare setting or reputable kennel/rescue, you will be provided training, branded merchandise, and all essential tools to be successful at Stay! You will be working independently and with teams. Our performance based pay system gives you the opportunity to earn up to $15 an hour! You must be at least 18 years old to be considered. You must be able to stand/walk for 4 hours at a time, and be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

On time attendance is an important part of caring for animals. Stay is located at 1265 W 65th Street in Cleveland. Will you be able to reliably come to work on time for all your scheduled shifts? Dog handling experience in a professional setting is REQUIRED, either at another daycare/boarding center, or with a reputable rescue organization.
