Job Description

We are hiring! We have a Weekend/Holiday position available on our team! Great for someone looking for part time work or additional income who loves dogs, has compassion, and a team player! Availability for weekends and holidays is a must. These are our busiest times. Opportunities for extra evening hours during the week is also a possibility if more hours are wanted. The job is rewarding but also hard work. No day is ever the same. You will work as a team with your co-workers during the busy times and need to be able to work solo in the off season. Duties and expectations for this position are: Feeding/Watering Dogs Poop scooping Cleaning kennels and keeping the facility clean Giving medication Bathing dogs and trimming nails Keeping records of the dog's behavior Supervising small play groups Be able to work with all sizes and temperaments of dogs. Be able to handle the sound of dogs barking Enjoy being outdoors- you will be working in all kinds of Ohio weather- the dogs still need to go out and potty and exercise no matter what the weather is. Be able to lift 40lbs Physically be able to handle and control dogs on a leash Customer Service and front desk duties for drop offs, pick ups, scheduling new appointments, and communication with clients on the phone. Must be 18 or older Must have reliable transportation Have time management skills and not need micromanaged Follow written directions and be able to communicate clearly with your team. Be reliable and show up on time ready to work. Must off phone while taking care of dogs. Animal experience is preferred, but being a teachable person is a MUST. We can train the right person. Pay based on experience.
