Full Job Description Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, experience with pets, and the ability to follow specific care instructions for a variety of breeds and sizes.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily walks, exercise, and playtime for pets. Feed pets according to instructions and ensure they have access to fresh water. Administer medication (if required). Clean up after pets during walks and in their living spaces. Provide companionship and attention to pets to ensure their well-being. Communicate with pet owners to provide updates on their pets, including photos and notes. Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or stress and report concerns to owners immediately. Follow specific care instructions for each pet, including behavior management techniques.

Qualifications:

Prior experience with pets (professional or personal). Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes (experience with large breeds is a plus). Reliable transportation to travel between clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physically fit and able to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication and time-management skills. A genuine love for animals and patience with varying pet temperaments.

Additional Requirements:

Background check References from previous pet care experience. Pet CPR or First Aid certification (preferred, but not required).
