We are committed to education, conservation, trust, discipline, and the ancient and beautiful connection humans have with raptors. We are seeking a hardworking and dependable individual with an interest in exotic animal care, property maintenance, and general labor who would like to begin a career in raptor education and falconry. This is a very hands-on support team position with opportunity to learn under licensed falconers while supporting our education program. Job responsibilities include Assisting with daily raptor care, weighing, feeding, aviary cleaning, facilities cleaning, equipment maintenance, and property maintenance Assisting with educational programing, set up/tear down, equipment preparation, guest experience, and daily operations Learning proper raptor handling, safety protocols, training techniques, and husbandry under direct supervision Working outdoors in all weather and ability to reliably complete daily responsibilities in inclement weather Basic large and small animal care, property cleaning and clearing, landscape maintenance, carpentry, and plumbing Ideal candidate must be dependable, hardworking, teachable with in interesting in expanding their knowledge and genuinely committed to West Coast Falconry's mission of Preservation through Education. Candidates must be over 18, fluent in English, have a valid driver's license with insured and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 40lbs, have basic knowledge of carpentry and plumbing We are a small company with a close-knit staff in a happy, casual work environment.
