Job Description

We are a small, hands-on dog daycare and boarding facility looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our staff. This role involves caring for dogs in both daycare and overnight boarding settings while maintaining a clean, safe, and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and interact with dogs in a group play setting Feed, water, and provide daily care for dogs Clean and maintain kennels, play areas, and facility spaces Monitor dog behavior to ensure safe interactions Assist with dog drop-offs and pick-ups Follow daily care routines and instructions for each dog Work independently and stay on task without direct supervision
Schedule:
Part-time (15-25 hours per week) Typical shifts: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM and/or 3:00 PM - 8:00
PM Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable working independently Able to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to stay active and on your feet for extended periods Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong work ethic Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
$13/hour 1099 independent contractor position
Additional Information:
We are a smaller facility, so reliability, independence, and teamwork are very important. All new hires are required to complete a few unpaid shadowing sessions to learn our processes and ensure a good fit.
Pay:
$13.00 per hour
