An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
Supervise and monitor dogs in an open-play daycare environment Ensure the safety, health, and happiness of all dogs in your care Engage in play and provide mental stimulation Maintain a clean, sanitary play area (accidents happen—you'll need to clean them up!) Assist with grooming tasks like baths and brushing Help with feeding and administering medications when needed Deliver outstanding service to our two-legged clients (the dog parents)What We're Looking For:
Availability for both morning shift (6:30am-1:30pm) & evening shift (1:30pm-8pm) A genuine love for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities Ability to confidently work with dogs of all sizes and breeds Dependability, punctuality, and a strong team spirit Basic knowledge of dog behavior and body language (we can teach you more!) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina: able to be on your feet, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed Strong communication skills and basic computer skills Comfort and confidence working with large groups of dogs Prior experience working with dogs is a big plus!
