- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur
- Clip nails and clean ears
- Style pets' fur using appropriate techniques and tools
- Provide basic grooming services such as teeth brushing and anal gland expression
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area ```
Qualifications:
```- Previous experience as a pet groomer
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and gently
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing
Skills:
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry heavy pets or equipment as needed.
- Dog training: Knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques to handle dogs during grooming sessions.
- Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service by understanding and meeting the needs of pet owners.
- Animal restraint: Ability to safely restrain animals during grooming procedures.
- Pet grooming: Proficiency in various grooming techniques, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling.
- Animal care: Understanding of animal behavior, health, nutrition, and general care.
