Responsibilities Provide attentive animal handling and care, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and detailed cleaning routines Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques while ensuring their comfort and security Support pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and basic hygiene maintenance Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations or treatments when necessary Ensure compliance with pet care facility sanitization protocols to uphold health standards Engage in team lifting and other physical tasks required for moving supplies or large animals safely Skills Previous veterinary experience highly preferred Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks Knowledge of pet grooming, animal care routines, and outdoor work environments Familiarity with pet boarding procedures and animal behavior management techniques Attention to detail in cleaning, sanitation, and record keeping within a pet care setting Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals every day!
