Dog on Harvard — Tulsa, Oklahoma Compensation 50% revenue share | Uncapped earning potential | Potential six-figure income This is not a traditional hourly or salaried position. Dog on Harvard is looking for one highly motivated person to build and operate their own doggy daycare business inside our established business. We already have the facility, brand, infrastructure, insurance, and approximately 3,000 existing customers. You bring the drive to turn that opportunity into a thriving daycare. The Opportunity Our daycare currently operates at a fraction of its potential because we have intentionally stopped focusing on growing it. Rather than hire someone to simply manage it, we want to give the right person the freedom and financial incentive to build it like it belongs to them.
Dog on Harvard provides:
Established daycare facility and space Rent and utilities Existing insurance infrastructure Established local brand and reputation Business systems and customer infrastructure Approximately 3,000 existing clients to market to Existing grooming, boarding and training traffic A ready-made platform to build from You do not need to invest the money normally required to open a dog daycare from scratch. How You Make Money Daycare is currently priced at approximately $30 per dog per day. Daycare revenue is split 50/50 between Dog on Harvard and the operator. Your share supports your side of the operation, including any daycare attendants you choose to hire. How much of the work you perform personally versus delegate directly affects how much you ultimately make.
For perspective:
20 dogs/day = approximately $156,000/year in daycare revenue 30 dogs/day = approximately $234,000/year 40 dogs/day = approximately $312,000/year 50 dogs/day = approximately $390,000/year 60 dogs/day = approximately $468,000/year At 60 dogs per day, the operator's 50% share would be approximately $234,000 before the operator's staffing and other agreed daycare expenses. These figures illustrate the opportunity and are not guaranteed income. There is no fixed salary ceiling. What you build determines what you can make. You Run It Within Dog on Harvard's safety, legal and brand standards, you will have significant freedom to grow the daycare however you believe makes sense.
You can:
Market to our existing customer base Bring former daycare clients back Develop memberships and packages Run promotions and referral programs Create social media content Build local partnerships Develop special events Recruit new customers Hire daycare attendants as needed Manage your team Create systems that make the business better We are not looking for someone who needs to be told every day what to do. We want someone who sees 10 dogs in daycare and immediately starts figuring out how to make it 20, then 30, then 40. You Don't Have to Start Full-Time One of the advantages of this opportunity is that you do not necessarily need to leave your current income immediately. You can begin by marketing, rebuilding the customer base and growing recurring attendance. As the daycare becomes large enough to support you, you can increase the amount of time you dedicate to it. The goal is to build the business first and let the business create the position. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Love dogs and understand safe group dog environments Have an entrepreneurial mindset Are highly self-motivated Are excellent with customers Are comfortable marketing and selling Take initiative without waiting for instructions Can lead and manage people Are creative and resourceful Want autonomy and responsibility Would rather have significant upside than a conventional hourly paycheck Have wanted to own a business but haven't wanted to take on the expense and risk of starting one from zero Pet-care experience is valuable, but initiative, judgment, reliability and entrepreneurial ability are critical. Why This Opportunity Is Different Opening your own dog daycare normally means finding and financing a commercial property, paying rent and utilities, securing insurance, building a brand, finding customers and surviving the startup period. Here, those pieces already exist. You are starting with a functioning platform and thousands of potential customers. In exchange for providing that infrastructure, Dog on Harvard receives 50% of daycare revenue. You get to build something that operates like your own business without having to finance the business from scratch. If you are looking for a normal daycare job, this probably isn't the right opportunity. If you're reading this thinking, "I know exactly what I could do with this," you're the person we want to meet. To Apply Tell us about yourself, your experience with dogs or pet-care businesses, and most importantly: If we handed you an established facility and 3,000 customers to market to, what would you do in your first 90 days to build the daycare?
