Overview MiAmore Pets is a premium grooming studio located in Blue Bell, PA. We operate crate free and take one furry client at a time (per groomer). We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services that enhance the appearance and well-being of our canine clients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and specifically the ability to handle multiple larger dog breeds throughout the day. The Dog Groomer will work closely with pet owners to understand their preferences and deliver tailored grooming solutions. Duties Perform pet coat styling, including breed-specific cuts and Asian fusion styling, ensuring each dog's grooming meets client expectations and industry standards. Handle multiple dogs daily, including larger-sized breeds weighing 40+ lbs, with care and professionalism. Manage dog handling safely and effectively during grooming procedures to ensure comfort for the pet and safety for staff. Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. Keep up-to-date with current grooming techniques, breed standards, and industry trends to provide exceptional service. Qualifications Proven experience in dog grooming, with proficiency in breed cuts and Asian fusion styling preferred. (3+ years minimum, 5 years preferred) Ability to handle multiple dogs per day, including larger breeds over 40 lbs. Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners effectively. Excellent dog handling skills with patience and compassion. Attention to detail and a passion for animal care. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Certification or training in dog grooming is a plus but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
Pay:
$25.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 20.0 per week
