If you know and love dogs, love working with people, and can keep a busy department organized when the phones are ringing, clients are arriving, and five groomers all have full schedules—we'd like to meet you. 5th Avenue Fido in Cranberry Twp— Voted Best Kennel seven years in a row & FAVE on Nextdoor—is looking to hire a dependable Grooming Salon Coordinator to keep our department running smoothly. This is more than a receptionist position . You keep the front end of our grooming salon organized, so our groomers can focus on what they do best. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for: Answering phones and assisting clients Scheduling grooming appointments Checking dogs in and out and processing payments Obtaining and maintaining vaccination records Keeping the grooming department organized and running efficiently Light cleaning and helping maintain a clean, professional salon Assisting with bathing dogs when needed Working closely with our team of five professional groomers Dog Experience Preferred Because this isn't the same as scheduling hair appointments or working at a traditional reception desk, we strongly prefer previous professional experience working with dogs , but we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in a veterinary office, emergency veterinary hospital, grooming salon, boarding kennel, dog daycare, animal shelter, or similar professional animal-care environment would be ideal. You must be comfortable handling dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Schedule Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Hours may vary somewhat depending upon the grooming schedule. Compensation & Benefits $17-$19/hour, depending on experience

We're looking for someone interested in becoming a dependable, long-term member of our team. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
