Overview Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of our animal care facility with enthusiasm and dedication. This vital role involves overseeing kennel activities, ensuring the highest standards of pet care, and managing a team of animal handlers and support staff. Your passion for animals and exceptional organizational skills will help create a safe, clean, and loving environment for our furry residents. As a Kennel Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering outstanding pet care services while maintaining compliance with safety protocols and veterinary guidelines. Hours We are open 7 days a week including holidays, rain, snow or shine. Our daily hours are from 7:30
  • 10:30 AM and 4
  • 7 PM For this position we are looking for someone with availability Weekdays 7:30
  • 10:30 AM and 4
  • 7 PM Saturday and Sunday 7:30-10:30 AM and 4-7pm Includes all holidays Duties Supervise daily kennel operations, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of animals in residence Ensure proper handling techniques are followed to promote positive behavior Oversee pet grooming, pet sitting, and appointments to ensure seamless service delivery Train and mentor staff on animal handling and customer service best practices Ensure the kennel environment remains clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations through regular inspections Manage inventory of pet supplies, medications, and grooming products to support efficient operations Take and return phone calls Set up reservations for pet stays Qualifications Experience in kennel management or animal care roles preferred but not required Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Familiarity with general pet care practices Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively Join us in creating a caring environment where animals thrive!
