Overnight Pet Sitter Barkside Bay - 5.0 Erie, PA Job Details Part-time $14 - $16 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Caregiving Emergency procedures Driver's License Attention to detail Cleaning Communication with pet owners Animal welfare Full Job Description Job Summary As an Overnight Pet Sitter at Barkside Bay, you will be responsible for staying with pets for a 12 hour shift, from evening to morning. This includes ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while offering companionship and monitoring throughout the night. You'll be the primary caregiver during your shift, making sure pets have everything they need, whether it's feeding, bathroom breaks, or simply offering a comforting presence. Your responsibility is to ensure pets feel at ease, even when their owners are away. Duties Provide overnight care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during their care. Engage in playtime and exercise activities to keep pets active and happy. Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly. Requirements Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners regarding their pet's needs and behaviors. A genuine passion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care is essential. Comfortable spending extended periods of time alone with pets. Reliable and responsible with strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and maintain routines for each pet. Must be comfortable with light housework, such as cleaning up after pets. Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and responsibly. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must pass a background check.

Compensation:

You will be paid commission based on the completion of each 12-hour overnight shift. Competitive pay rates will be provided Eligable for tips
