Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to animals in our facility, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for pets. Duties Provide daily care for animals. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns. Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing as needed. Engage with pet owners. Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling appointments when required. Skills Strong background in animal care or pet care is essential. Experience in dog handling and knowledge of various breeds is preferred. Familiarity with pet grooming techniques is a plus. Previous experience in a kennel or veterinary setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively.
