Love working with animals? Want to work on a beautiful and peaceful 30-acre property along the Neshaminy Creek? Great news...Ross Mill Farm is hiring! Located in Jamison, PA, Ross Mill Farm is the Home of the Pet Pig offering boarding, grooming and veterinary services for approximately 170 pet pigs. It is also the primary foster home for Pig Placement Network, a non-profit organization that services the rehoming of over 1,000 pet pigs. The new team member will work directly with the pigs and help clients and visitors. Responsibilities include the day-to-day activities of feeding, cleaning, and caring for 80 pigs, plus checking in/out pig boarders, greeting visitors, grooming, veterinary assistance, and medical record keeping. The new team member will need to be able to work independently and have good people skills. Experience with animal care and handling is preferred. Management experience is also preferred. The farm hours are 8:00-4:00. All applicants should have a love of these lil' oinkers, enthusiasm, and a passion for the wonderful work we do to help pigs in need.
