Duties Provide pet sitting services in clients' homes or designated facilities, including feeding, administering medication, and ensuring overall well-being Engage pets with exercise routines such as dog walking, playtime, and outdoor activities to promote health and happiness Monitor pet behavior and perform animal restraint safely during care activities to prevent injury or stress Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding pet status, behavior, and any concerns or updates Assist with overnight in-home care when required, ensuring pets are comfortable and secure during extended stays Support with pet grooming, basic training, or behavioral reinforcement as needed to enhance pet comfort and owner satisfaction Handle animal care tasks involving heavy lifting or outdoor work to ensure safety and proper handling of larger animals like dogs or horses Requirements Proven experience in dog training, animal handling, or veterinary settings such as veterinary technician or assistant roles Knowledge of pet care essentials including cat care, dog handling, animal restraint techniques, and pet grooming Hands-on experience with veterinary procedures or veterinary experience is highly desirable Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong client communication skills to build trust and provide excellent customer service to pet owners Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform outdoor work tasks comfortably Passion for animals with a proactive attitude towards pet exercise, behavior management, and overall animal welfare Join us if you're passionate about animals, eager to develop your skills in pet care and handling, and ready to deliver exceptional service that makes tails wag and purrs abound!
