Overview Must have 1 year experience with professional Dog Grooming Join our dynamic pet care team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and skill in pet styling come together to create happy, healthy, and beautifully groomed dogs. In this energetic role, you will deliver professional grooming services that enhance each pet's appearance and comfort, while providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your expertise in animal handling and grooming techniques will help build lasting relationships with clients and their beloved companions. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning with precision and care Handle dogs of all breeds and temperaments using safe animal restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming procedures Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care and maintenance between visits Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly to uphold health standards Assist with pet handling during grooming sessions, ensuring proper animal handling techniques are followed at all times Support the overall well-being of animals by recognizing signs of distress or health issues and communicating these observations to veterinary professionals or pet owners Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling, nail trimming, and bathing techniques Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures Knowledge of animal handling, restraint methods, and basic veterinary procedures such as veterinary assistant or technician experience is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and animal care tips Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting of pets and equipment throughout the workday Familiarity with animal care standards, pet sitting, and general pet health practices is preferred A genuine love for animals combined with a professional attitude committed to providing outstanding customer service Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that leaves pets looking great and feeling their best!
