Canine Care Assistant Central Bark Philadelphia is currently accepting applications for a Canine Care Assistant position. The candidate will be responsible for the care of dogs, supervising play groups, cleaning tasks and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dogs and looking to work in an organization with a growth plan path. Central Bark Philadelphia has been open since 2007 and operates 365 days a year: employees are expected to work weekends and holidays in all types of weather. Your responsibilities will be leading day care groups in engaging, enriching activities, supervising dog play groups, and working to assure their care throughout the day is focused on providing a safe, clean and healthy environment for dogs, both physically and mentally. Our on the job training consist of side-by-side shadowing with an experienced handler and the completion of on-line courses developed by industry-leading consultants that you will be required to successfully pass.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. A passion for dogs. Prior dog handling experience is preferred. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
