AS NEEDED.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Sitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for dogs, cats, and other pets, while ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling and a genuine love for animals, making each visit an enjoyable experience for both the pet and the owner. Duties Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization. Monitor the behavior and health of pets during visits, reporting any concerns to pet owners and to Kiara. Care for multiple pets at once, ensuring all are under control at all times. Assist with pet sitting as needed, providing care in the owner's absence. MUST be comfortable with animal care and body language. Take high quality photos during each visit and send detailed and well written updates to clients. Skills Background in veterinary care, including veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques for clients in need of medication administration Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being. Time management skills.
