The Dog Stop South LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a passionate and organized Daycare Manager to lead our team and ensure every tail is wagging! Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the dog daycare facility to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment Supervise, train, and schedule daycare staff to maintain high standards of pet care Monitor dog behavior and playgroups, ensuring proper temperament assessments and safe interactions Build and maintain strong relationships with pet owners through excellent customer service Manage facility inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols Track and report on key performance metrics including attendance, revenue, and staff performance
Requirements:
Prior experience in a pet care, animal services, or daycare management role preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and basic animal first aid Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a dynamic, hands-on environment Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and client communication
