Boarding & Animal Care Attendant Location:
Humane Pennsylvania & Spike & Tilly's Pet Resort - Reading & Lancaster, PA Full-Time & Part-Time Weekday & Weekend positions available!
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet customers with a warm smile and assist them with inquiries, pet adoptions, and boarding reservations. Provide knowledgeable guidance on pet care, adoption procedures, and boarding services. Manage check-ins and check-outs for boarding pets, and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' stay.
Pet Adoptions:
Facilitate the adoption process with compassion and professionalism. Conduct interviews with potential adopters, match them with suitable pets, and complete adoption paperwork.
Animal Husbandry:
Ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care. Assist with feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed. Maintain clean and comfortable living environments for our animal residents.

THE PERSON
The key skills and qualities of a
Boarding Attendant/Client Services/Animal Care:
Passion for animals and dedication to their welfare. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service, pet care, or animal welfare is preferred but not required.
