Overnight Pet Sitter, Consecutive Night Availability North Hills Pet Care is a young and growing local company providing professional dog walking and pet sitting services in clients' homes throughout Pittsburgh's North Hills. We are hiring a dependable Overnight Pet Sitter who is available for multiple consecutive overnight assignments , including both weekdays and weekends. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable staying overnight in clients' homes and can reliably commit to several nights in a row when needed. Longer client trips may be shared between sitters, so you would not necessarily be expected to cover every night of an extended reservation. Typical overnight assignments are approximately 8 PM to 7 AM. We are actively building our local client base, so this is a flexible, part time opportunity best suited for someone looking for supplemental income rather than guaranteed full time hours. Position Details Part time W2 position Overnight assignments are typically approximately 8 PM to 7 AM Overnight pay is $7.25 per hour , with a typical 11 hour overnight totaling $79.75 Paid onboarding and training at $17 per hour Assignments take place in clients' homes Schedule varies based on client needs and is not guaranteed week to week Reliable transportation is required

Service Area:

Cranberry Township, Mars, Wexford, Franklin Park, Economy, and nearby areas Responsibilities Stay overnight in clients' homes and provide care according to their instructions Feed pets, refresh water, and administer medications when instructed Take dogs outside for potty breaks and provide appropriate care during the overnight stay Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, health, or comfort Follow detailed care and home instructions Send clear and detailed visit updates with photos Communicate promptly with management if any concerns or unexpected situations arise Keep the client's home secure and treat both pets and property with care Review all relevant pet and household information before beginning care What We Are Looking For Dependable and responsible Comfortable working independently in clients' homes Good judgment and attention to detail Clear and professional communication skills Comfortable caring for both dogs and cats Able to follow detailed instructions carefully Comfortable handling a variety of pet personalities and care needs Available for multiple consecutive overnight assignments Availability that includes both weekdays and weekends Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must pass a background check Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle and auto insurance Smartphone with reliable service Reliable transportation throughout the service area Pet care experience, including personal, professional, volunteer, foster, shelter, kennel, veterinary, or similar experience Comfortable staying overnight in clients' homes When applying, please include: Your pet care experience Your general overnight availability How many consecutive nights you can usually commit to Any pets or care situations you are not comfortable handling Which of the listed service areas you would be comfortable serving, along with any additional nearby areas you would also be willing to cover
