In this role, you will provide professional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of dogs. Your energetic and caring approach will ensure each pet feels comfortable and pampered throughout their grooming experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to turn your love for dogs into a rewarding career while working in a lively, supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health to recommend appropriate grooming treatments or products Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained Schedule appointments efficiently using our booking system, managing client requests and adjusting for last-minute changes Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs, aftercare instructions, and special requests Assist with handling dogs safely and gently during grooming sessions to ensure their comfort and safety Support team members with errands or additional tasks such as stocking supplies or cleaning common areas when needed Experience Previous salon or spa experience working with animals is highly preferred Experience in personal service roles involving adults, adolescents, or elderly individuals demonstrates strong interpersonal skills beneficial for client interactions Knowledge of appointment scheduling systems and office building procedures enhances operational efficiency Background in hotel or private residence settings indicates adaptability to different environments Clinic experience related to animal care or personal transportation assistance skills are advantageous for handling diverse situations This role is perfect for someone energetic who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves making pets look their best.
