Responsibilities Provide daily pet care including feeding, watering, exercise, and administering medications as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through thorough sanitization and organization Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress Monitor pet behavior and health, promptly reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or supervisors Support pet grooming activities such as brushing or bathing when required Engage in outdoor activities with pets, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation Skills Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling enhances your ability to connect with pets effectively Strong knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques ensures safe interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when handling large or multiple animals Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and visitors Knowledge of kennel cleaning protocols and sanitation practices for pet care facilities Outdoor work experience helps manage pets during outdoor walks or playtime in various weather conditions
